This year will be 45th annual operation of the All Aboard Rail Road. The All Aboard Rail Road is a 24 ft. x 46 ft operating display, featuring American Flyer model trains. As many as 20 trains will be in operation continuously over 2,010 ft. of track, and 72 switches on 4 scenic & landscaped levels. Animation & Automation will keep you captivated as you are witness to the largest known operating display of American Flyer model trains in the world. As darkness settles over the display every ½ hour, the miniature village comes to life as more than 900 lights illuminate the homes, streets, circus, Ferris wheel and bridges while the illuminated passenger trains are traversing over the bridges, in and out of tunnels, past oil wells, farms and over the mountains. The old steam engines, huff and puff real smoke as they climb up the grades, pulling a consist of cars loaded to capacity. A turntable can be utilized to change engines on a train at times deemed necessary. In addition, over 250 original American Flyer Train sets are displayed in cases for your viewing pleasure. On top of the mountain is the Plasticville Airport with illuminated runways and the Comet Roller Coaster.
